What is an ICV?
LCIs (Life Cycle Inventories) concern intermediate building products, and are governed by standard NF EN 15804+A2 and its national complement.
This declaration, drawn up under the responsibility of manufacturers, is based on the results of their product’s Life Cycle Assessment.
It summarizes the environmental and health characteristics of a product from cradle to factory gate:
- A1- Raw materials
- A2- Raw materials transportation
- A3- Production
French regulations require environmental declarations to be verified by an independent third party.
